[01] the slayer has landed

After dealing with an army of last-bagel-gobbling bathroom-hogging three-am-giggle-fest Slayerettes in training for months on end?  I'm pretty sure dealing with reforming one hardened criminal will feel like something of a vacation.  I mean hey, there's no looming Apocalypse, no nightly vigils at fresh grave sites (one of the many advantages of boats - that whole lack of cemeteries thing), and no one lifting my hairspray every time I turn around.

Sounds like cake.  

Or at least like one of those little Hostess cupcake things you can get out of vending machines, which aren't as good as real cake, but they're still tasty if you don't think too hard about that whole nutritional value thing. 


Oh, I should probably introduce myself.  Buffy Summers.  Slayer.  Long resume of world saving, and new resident warden.

Really, my evil plan involved inciting cravings in other passengers who might be more equipped to provide baked goods for general sharing.

Haha, well, we do have a pie maker aboard, but the food is also rationed. At least this way we never go hungry, but it does cut down on impromptu late night cookie baking.

Oh well. My waistline will probably appreciate it, though Slayer metabolism usually allows for some serious cheat-age on the diet end of things.

There's a nice gym for working off those cupcakes too, should we ever get any. Slayer metabolism? I can't say I've ever heard of that.

I found it. In fact, my room is parked pretty close to it, which is convenient because I'm sure I'll be spending lots of time there.

It's this whole.... mystical Chosen One thing.

It's been a while since I've used a crossbow, but they're fun too. I mostly shoot competitively these days. I usually practice in the mornings, if you ever want to join--it'd be nice to have company.

I'm not a huge morning person myself either, but I'm trying. So far I'm really just sleeping less.

Yeah, me too. It's a little easier here, as when there isn't a flood or crisis of some kind, it's pretty quiet and there's not a LOT to do. So less reasons to be getting tired. ...But the crazy times more than make up for the down times.

I missed that one, sadly. I kind of--left for two weeks, but I don't remember going anywhere. But anyway, my first week here I was turned into a man. I... could live without that happening again.
