Buffy Summers

Buffy talks to Oliver about whether she made the right decision or not in leaving LA after Spike's death.

Buffy's stake and Mr. Gordo abruptly start talking to her...

Spike's back from the dead - or not so dead, it seems.  He and Buffy have a heartbreaking reunion, and she's saddened to learn that this isn't permanent - he's going to help Angel and doesn't want her to follow. She convinces him to spend the night with her, even though they both know it's a horrible idea.

Buffy laments Spike leaving again, talking to Faith about it.

The following take place in Metropolis, where Buffy has been staying with her 'brother' Oliver Queen, ever since Spike's death.

[Sneaks out of Oliver's.  Patrol time.]

In which:
 
   +  Buffy bumps into Chloe, who's come for some paperwork, when she's trying to sneak out of the apartment after Oliver 'goes to sleep.'  Chloe gets the entirely wrong impression of who Buffy is and why she's staying there.   Buffy asks her not to tell Oliver that she was going out, if he wakes up.
   +  When she spots someone on top of the Daily Planet, she figures they must be a vamp, and scales the roof, where she confronts the Green Arrow.  He realizes that she's a vampire hunter, and explains to her what he actually does, after she tries to pick a fight with him.  Thinking it's only fair that she know his identity when he knows her, Oliver reveals that it's actually him, and the two talk about their secret lives.  They agree to work together on patrol while she's staying with him, and he suggests she invite Dawn to come visit.
   + Buffy runs into Connor, beating up a vamp.

Chloe > chloeas 

Later, Buffy gives Dawn a call to let her know a Queen Industries private jet is coming to get her.

Tonight's a training run for newbies.

In which: 

       +  Buffy meets Dr. Watson
       +  She discusses the prospects with Spike and invites him along.
       +  Morgana details her own monster fighting exploits
       +  Oz returns!

And young!Xander gets some mail. 

{ooc:  All is well with my gram now, and we've finished running her to the hospital for check ups every other day, so no worries~!}

Way to be a role-model, dad.

In which
      + Spike talks to Buffy about her Dad, and she explains how he's asking for money, after he somehow lost all his, in the process of having sex with a Peruvian flight attendant.  He convinces her that it is the right thing to break off contact with the man completely.  Spike also informs her that an Angel tried to kill him.
      + Dawn tells her sister not to help out their dad.
      +  Oliver lends an ear, and after a discussion about family, they decide to adopt each other as honorary siblings.

Buffy brings her 'brother' some chicken soup and advice when he gets sick.

Spike makes a confession thanks to some magic.  And Buffy admits she loves him.  You can probably surmise what happens next.

Yeah, that was a great idea.


In which
      + Buffy gets comfort in the form of chocolate, from a Jonas brother.  Or the character a Jonas brother plays on TV.  I don't fucking know these things.
      + Buffy meets Conner, and is tripped out.
      +  Isaac Ashford talks to her about setting exes on fire, and not being an idiot.
      + Will and Buffy have a nice long talk, in which Buffy finds out Xander and Spike have been sleeping together.
      + Buffy avoids talking to Dawn about the issue.
      + And gets some perspective from Cordelia, of all people.
      + And then finally talks to Spike about it, only to realize she's talking to the wrong Spike
      + When her Spikes are straightened out, she goes with the one she needs to talk to for coffee to discuss ~them~.  And this whole Xander thing.  To no one's surprise, this ends really badly, when Buffy misconstrues Spike's words to mean that he wants to start their physical relationship up in much the same vein it was last time.  She leaves on bad terms.
