Way to be a role-model, dad.

In which
      + Spike talks to Buffy about her Dad, and she explains how he's asking for money, after he somehow lost all his, in the process of having sex with a Peruvian flight attendant.  He convinces her that it is the right thing to break off contact with the man completely.  Spike also informs her that an Angel tried to kill him.
      + Dawn tells her sister not to help out their dad.
      +  Oliver lends an ear, and after a discussion about family, they decide to adopt each other as honorary siblings.

Buffy brings her 'brother' some chicken soup and advice when he gets sick.

Spike makes a confession thanks to some magic.  And Buffy admits she loves him.  You can probably surmise what happens next.

Also, Oliver wanted me to inform you to tell Buffy that should Spike hurt her, as a big brother, it is his duty to kick Spike's butt.

yay indeed! :D Hopefully they won't screw this up, like they're both so good at doing.

Aww, Buffy's got such a good big brother. She's a little hesitant to mention the 'he's a vampire' thing, but if Ollie should ever seriously have to consider kicking Spike's butt, she might want to bring that up.

Maybe. ;D Though first she might want to tell him what she actually does a living. Though I suppose that leads to confusing!SWS question: are you playing it that he knows multiple copies of Buffy, so he already knows who she is, or are they all sort of different verses? ... I always end up doing a little of both, so I figured it could be either one. :P

That's exciting. I think yours is the first Buffy I've come across where the mun is into Buffy/Spike.

Hmm, that's a good question. I think I'll just play it that each Buffy is an individual, so he doesn't know? How's that work for you?

We seem to be a rare breed. Like the lepers of the Buffy RP community, or something. ;)

That sounds perfect to me. It's sort of an unspoken agreement between most of the Buffyverse characters there that there are doubles and confusing timelines, but I usually stick to the 'everybody's a separate verse' rule for any non-canon-mates.

Plus then some day they can find out each other's secret identities through some hilarious means. <.
